Phobya 200mm Radiator

Hey guys,

Can anybody tell me how well the Phobya 200mm radiator stacks up the defacto 120mm rads? How many 120's is it roughly comparable too?

These rads seem to fit well within a case I am planning for my SR-2.

Go for it if it fits. You could use frontal surface area as an approximate conversion.
20cm x 20cm or 400cm^2

MCR320 is about 12.8CM wide by 36.2CM or 463cm^2
MCR220 is about 12.8CM wide by 24.2CM or 310cm^2

So, assuming you had the same fan performance, it would probably fall somewhere between a double and triple rad as a guess.

Not sure on what a "Good" 200cm fan is though, that might be the bigger challenge since they are almost all designed for low resistance/case fan type duties.

I'm guessing that 180-220 fan selection is very scarce, so if it's much harder to find good 140mm fans compared to good old 120mm ones, imho it's gonna be only worse by going bigger. IIRC only 1 or two fans are sold of that size. I'm guessing they also have very bad air pressure because of slow rpm-s and big distance between fan blades. So not worth to compare rad area only, if available fans are not up to job. From these i'd probably would pick Yates 220 fan. But even better - 3x120 rad with scythe gentle typhoon fans

I'm thinking about 2 of these in the top of my Stacker STC01 and the silverstone fans are what i'm looking at.

These specs are pretty impressive:

SPEED
1300 rpm +_ 200 rpm at VR＝0Ω ~
500 rpm +_ 200 rpm at VR＝50KΩ

AIRFLOW
65~150 CFM

STATIC PRESSURE
Max 0.48~2.38mmH2O
