What waterblock for my Asus 7990

I have the Asus 7990




and I would like to know if this waterblock

is compatible
Does anyone fit it to this specific card?
Also Is there any backplate available?(except swiftech komodo and dd)

Yes that is the correct block (Se) for that card (reference malta). EK does not do a backplate as many cards come with a backplate and it gets reused. If you get the XSPC block they manufacture a separate backplate that gives you a cleaner look.

Yes that's the one.

AFAIK there are no nickel backplates unless you get them plated yourself. Watercool are the only people who make nickel backplates I think and AFAIK did not make a 7990 block/backplate.

The only ones in existence that i'm aware of are these chrome plated ones that Elmy custom plated:



Oh and I bought those off of him and they are not for sale lol so you might be out of luck

AFAIK - As Far As I know

Those backplates were custom plated - they are the standard backplates (powder coated aluminum I believe) from the reference card that were taken to a plating shop. It's not cheap to do this however. Quotes I've had range from $80-150 for a small batch of plating.

You are correct. Not sure why I said they were nickel - I guess I meant "nickel" style finish.
