    Popular Science

Unless my search skills failed me. I saw no posts on this.

I was sitting in the crapper reading October issue of Popular Science and found an article labeled. "Should I overclock my computer?" So I read on to find a plug for xtremesystems.org !!!

Is this just news to me or do other know about this as well? Just thought it was very cool to see it in PopSci.

Man that's awesome! But I don't think they needed to add the suggestions for how to OC sending people to MaximumPC. I'm pretty sure we're the best at that too

I could be wrong but I don't think XS has "guides" like some of the other sites do.

I think I am going to write a letter to the editor and see if we can get some hype for XS WCG team. Can't hurt, only thing I see is "Gordon Mahung is a founding editor of the Maximum PC magazine and typed this on a mildly overclocked PC."

Any thoughts, Should I give em a write?

I don't understand? They mention overclocking a PC and talk about a 2.66Ghz chip running at 3.33Ghz, and they call that overclocking?

I guess they had better send people to other sites if that is what they consider overclocking. In the words of our Inspirational Leader "The Hamster Master" DDTUNG to Movieman, "Overclock it or I will ban you!"
