It's time! Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war!

Ok, so everyone has had a nice warm summer with their machines turned off, the house kept nice and cool but that time is done.
The seasons have turned, the temps are lower and it's time to let those beasties warm up the house and get some good work done.
As the saying goes: If ya got 'em, bring 'em!
    Good Luck!

Unfortunately, the season has indeed turned, and it's only getting warmer down here - remember not everyone is in the USA Crunching in 35/37/occasionally 40-degrees C heat is not fun.

Tiz true, it's not. Good thing we haven't got that here yet, and shouldn't for a little while.

    I hope.

BTW, Shakespeare's line is actually "let slip the dogs of war." But the reference actually originates with Genghis Khan who referred to his top generals as the dogs of war.

I'm all in if I can keep priority work units from clogging up all of my machines, here is what all of my rigs look like ........ hours and hours worth of partial work. But, I guess it all adds up and eventually they will all get finished.

I always thought is was a reference to the Chow dogs that they used in battle. Mean SOB's with large spiked collars that they set loose with the troops.

The phrase that Movieman quoted comes from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. I believe Shakespeare stole part of that phrase from Plutarch. War dogs go back to ancient times. Genghis Khan used the phrase "dogs of war" to refer to his generals who annihilated armies in the Middle East, Russia and Eastern Europe.
