    Looking for quick connects

Been looking for a pair of quick connects, getting confused. From reading i think I need a pair one male and one female? Interested in the colder ns6 as they seem the least restrictive. Need verification of the one male and one female, also best place to get them will be using 7/16 masterkleer tubing.Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Yes you need one female and one male. Plus there are different kind of ends of them. Others have threads and others have comp fittings/barbs. So select accordingly. So if you want to attach one to your res for example you'll need one with the threads and if you want to attach one to tubing, then you'll need one with the fitting.

Theres a thread somewhere on these forums, i think it was vapor or skinnee... They tested each kind of koolance qdc fittings and to be honest wasnt really much difference between the lot except one of them actually didnt leak at all.. ill try dig it up for ya

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

FrostyAMD: i should warn you though that if you consider Koolance's QDCs i suggest to change tubing size,a as those are only for ID 3/8" or 1/2" (apart from rarely used 1/4 & 5/8). You might try to put 7/16 tubing with varming up end in hot water on 1/2" qdc barbs, but no go with such hack for qdc-s with compression fitting end, as CF needs exact mach of both ID & OD for secure connection.

Trying to get the barbed ones as I was aware of fit needed for compression fittings. Seems that all run about same in price. thought I might find a deal on them somewhere but no luck so far. Thes will be mounted outside case so some spillage may be tolerable. More interested in restriction and price.
