    GA-880GA-UD3H board v2.1 overclocking with ddr3 1333

    as title says I cant get this motherboard past 274 fsb with memory devider 4.00 to run at 1100 or over.I allso use amd thuban 1055T x6 (125w) and ddr3 1333 value ram Iknow thats all Icould get at the time.
    So my question is is this a limitation when using that devider.
    tanks for any help.
    forgot to say that I have had this cpu running at 4.2 with just over 1.4volts.but on a ddr2 motherboard.

    did you lower the NB and HT speeds?

    274 bus is 2740mhz on the NB and HT, which both might not like being that high

    ok, i would try to drop the bus by a few mhz and do some stability test for a good hour before bumping it up, and the just go 1mhz at a time to see when instability kicks in.

    do you set the timings yourself, or let it automatically do that?

    Hey guys, guess what?

    My rev 1 board does the exact same thing.

    200-270 HTT - Stable

    270+ - Loses stability

    274 HTT, in windows, AMD Overdrive. Mouse starts jumping all over the screen.

    Set 275. Nothing changes. Same mouse jumping everywhich way on it's own.

    Set 276. Screen goes black, followed by a nice "Out Of Range" message on my monitor, and a nice long beep from the board.

    *RESET* BIOS is corrupt, automatically recovers itself from the backup bios, proceeds into loading bios F1.

    @doodle

    Disabling channel interleaving brings quite a loss in performance...
