New to trying to unlock cores

I purchased a cheap msi AM3 740g motherboard that says it can unlock cores and I also purchased an amd x2 210e because i have read they can unlock to quads. i haven't been able to figure it out and figured i would ask and see what i need to do to try and get it to work. the exact motherboard is the msi 740GM-P25.

Just try to enable the ACC option in your bios, and check cpu specs (from name, to #of cores and cache amount) in cpu-z if you're able to boot. I guess this is the usual procedure on sb750/710 with a bios capable of it if there aren't more straightforward options.
Now for being able to unlock a x2 to a quad, you are really dependent on having the correct cpu stepping for it, as most x2's will be native two cores unlike x3s.
