555 unlock Chances?

How big of a chance can you get if you buy a 555 now and unlock it to 4x.
Because in this past month i seen fewer 555 unlock to a 4x, but maybe its just me. What do you all think?

Its a little hard to make out what you saying, but there are a 70% chance that to get a phenom2 555 that can unlock to a quad?

These numbers mean nothing if you don't have any numbers of cpu's that didn't unlock.

the chances on a x3 is deffinatly higher then 30% ... id say at least 70% ... but on a quad its 40-50% id guess ... but sometimes you dont get lucky at all ...

From the 3 we had here, all unlocked to 4 cores... pretty good bang for the buck ! (if it unlocks :p)

X3 740 black edition for 89$ on the egg and the chance to unlock.L3 cache is there also.

The X2 550's normal unlock. You should be fine. Worst case you sell it for a slight loss and try again or just get a real Quad. X4 940's BE can be had for really cheap now.
