Looks interesting, Thermalright claim it can beat the Silver Arrow.

Bet it's too wide to fit onto Classified, huh? And actually, I also think it does not look like it can beat Silver Arrow...
TR = da best
I like the light wight and 140mm fan, and this tiny design can solve the problem with tall RAM too.
This looks good on paper, but load temp & noise is what counts most, It will be interesting to see a good test on this.

Not exactly. The most important difference is the number of heat-pipes, and then the diameter. But not the gas, because all new heat-pipes use the same gas.
This one has 6 X 6mm heat-pipes, while Silver Arrow has 4 X 8mm, so it's not exactly 2 X similar. This one has more heat-pipes, and that's a big advantage. Only a good test would find out which one performs better, though.

Its more to do with the volume than just plain multiplying...but anyway this seems to be an update to the Venemous X if anything.
what it means is we need someone with a thermal camera to make movies of these things heating up
bigger pipes pull more heat (better for moving heat from base to pipes)
more smaller ones spread it out better, but take up more space (better for moving heat from pipes to fins)
its all about balancing, which is why no one built a heatsink made with 2 giant pipes, (1 U shaped one). or a heatsink made of only heatpipes (where no air would pass through)

i know its different from the TRUE, but you know... i couldnt tell you what exactly is different without googling for a pic of the TRUE...
i think this has 1 or 2 more heatpipes?![]()
