    Dominator revisions compatible?

    Hi!

It was silly of me not to post my question here first, but I just need someone to confirm the answer I got.

I have 2 kits of 3x2gb 1600mhz dominators. They are of rev7.1a and rev2.1. Do they have different chips and thus shouldn't be used together?

We cannot recommend mixing modules using different ICs. It may work or it may not work. It could also be unstable. The ONLY way to know is to install them and test. My best guess is probably but there are no guarantees.

Thanks for the answer, but I'm still unclear whether they actually have differing IC's. Is there anywhere you have an overview over all the different revisions?
