Nice push that vcore way higher, 1.5v is nothing for a old Pentium.

At the FSB limit for the board right now, looking for a bios update to fix that. Also, cpu gets really hot with higher volts.

2 dies. its pretty much 2 621 dies on one package, MCM (multi chip module).

Temps were hitting 71c in orthos at 4.66 (333x14)

    Stepping is SL9KB

Funny thing is, I thought this board had a dead bios like 2 years ago, turns out was just memory timings screw up in DMI. got an extra bios chip for it anyways, so more fun to come.

Awesome, I need to pull my old Pentium D 820 (bought back in 2005) out of my backup rig and see how it would do in my P45 UD3P.

Its pretty sweet to see the PDs still alive and kicking.

You'll only get 1.4vcore because gigabyte were idots when designing those boards.

Is it normal to hit such temps on these cpus? I even reseated the waterblock and checked the paste, using Ceramique. I have a Liang DDC and 4x120mm. When it hits those temps, the block doesnt even get warm to the touch. Maybe it needs lapping?

As far as I know they didn't fix it with a new BIOS. I was very annoyed when it happened to me.

For some reason when the UD3P/R P45's (I don't know if other giga 775's do the same) detects a P4/Celly etc it limits your vcore to 1.4v. I believe you could get around it with a vmod though.
