    I just picked up a i7 930 at a decent price.

    The 950 is pretty tempting too at only $30 more...

    I would say the 950 as you have a nice 24 multiplier to play with as opposed to the 22 max multi on the 930....

    With the 24 multi you are much less likely to be bclk limited

    Most boards max out the bclk at 210 - 222 so for example with 24 x 222 you have more overclocking headroom than with 22x 222

    I reserved both but I'm keeping the 950 for $249 out the door.

    Likewise. Guess they are afraid to open up in AZ with Fry's electronics in town. Too bad, might shape Fry's up some. I don't even go there anymore unless a customer has to have it today.

    Walker is going to let me have (use) one of his 980s to test out. When you and I were talking it made me think I would rather have the 980 so I held off.

    I picked up a 950 today that was a "F" batch. Haven't had time to play with it, but default vcore is 1.11v, so it looks promising.
