Sexy looking. Can't believe how secretly it's been kept with this close to launch. It only seems to get worse and worse.

I hope AMD positions 6850 against GTX 460 768MB and 6870 against the 1GB version. If they put 6850 against GTX 1GB if they perform similarly, then there's nothing to go against 768MB version.

It would be a lot easier if we could see the PCI-E x16 connector, though you can still estimate it based on card height. Educated guess says about 8.5" long.

the length of the Xfire bridge, and the 6pin connectors should be able to tell you enough

Just measure the crossfire bridge on a real card, see how many times it fits the side on the pic and voila there u should have a quite accurate figure.

Imho it is more reliable to do it with PCI-E power connectors.

True, as long as you compare with something.

this is a comparison to a newegg image of a very similar angle 5870.
sorry i cant really give any numbers, but someone else can probably count the pixels to know what its around.

the vertical green lines are for lining up the top edge of both cards, cause they are both skewed a little

Nono, just do it like this:

Quite exact 16½ PCI-E connectors for the PCB itself... too lazy to measure the exact size of a PCI-E connector atm.

EDIT: OK I measured the pci-e connector to 1.3cm so I'd say 21.5 cm or 8.5".

To add to things, he will say it's a fake card because since when do you equip retail cards with half of a power connector!

Bart is 230 mm^2 chip, slightly smaller than GF 108 that powers GTS 450, yet performs about the level of a theoritical FULL GF 104 which is 367 mm^2 in size ? Talking about added efficiency, OUCH OUCH for nVidia.
