Next Supercomputer Week is coming up. November 1-8

It's now been almost six months since the last Supercomputer Week. I think there was general agreement to do it again in early November. So get ready to fire up any idle machines and get your friends to join.

Our team membership increased almost 70% since the first Supercomputer week. Let's show the world what "Xtreme" really means.

Are we doing it exclusively for WCG or for the whole BOINC platform?

Awesome ; I'll have to find some time to bump the clocks a bit (if the system will handle it).

My normal daily output now is twice what my peak everything turned up to 11 output was during the last SuperWeek. I'm hoping to see some big numbers.

I have some work computers I will Borg.

Regarding the next XS WCG Hardware Giveaway: I think the consensus at the end of the last one was to do them quarterly, which would put the next one in the first or second week of December. Should we do the next one before the start of the November SuperComputer Week? I volunteered to conduct this next one. I have an E2140, a 2GB stick of DDR2, and a Radeon 9200SE to add to the giveaway also...

Worst timing for me I promised already that I'll pull out my main rig from WCG, electricity cost is hugely affecting our budget. I'll hit 1M BOINC and since than only "free" computers at University.
