    IMHO Waste is a computer going to a landfill having done actual computations less than 90% of it's life. 90% of the computers powered on right now are idle or powered off; what a waste! [/B]

    Is it a coincidence that your wifes pc is called Uranus?

    I've decided to rejoin for the Supercomputer run. Then I'm back to team Richard Dawkins. Any atheists in here?

    I'm positive there is, but probably not the best place to discuss it.

    it seems the last 2 days our power has gone out. and when it does my computer goes into retard mode. need a ups with battery back up bad.

    but ive got it at 3.8 so that should help it a little bit. first time its ever been stable at 3800 MHz. apparently if i keep it under 43C it is really happy. but above that i lose 50 MHz

    I am not getting new work units project down for maintenance

    To be a professional noob/idiot
    * Default factory speed is for noobs.
    * Everything must go above the speed that the factory consider safe.
    * Everything for more performance
    * Everything fits, and everything can be broken.
    * Most problems can be fixed by adding a volt or two.
    * Post things in your signature that makes no sense at all.

    Yeah, that server is down again.

    I lost my Internet connection for almost 8 hours today. Some fools have been messing and they cut the able down the street. Finally got it back, and I was happy to get new tasks. But that's not happening . I hope they fix the server soon, otherwise I will run out of tasks soon.

    Got a Thermalright Silver Arrow for my X5650 on UD7, and the temp doped by 17'C Now it's running at 4.1GHz 1.31v, with a max core-temp 63'C

    ok so I never stopped WCG on some of my rigs but I needed to shut most of them off because the power bill went up $200 a month when I was "farming" seeing this however makes me want to turn most of them back on, I have however been starting to add WCG to the laptops at work (not great but some dual cores and a few single cores) however seeing s the servers are down most of them don't have work....and here I was getting all excited to get back into crunching haha.

    I do have a Pentium Pro 200 sitting next to me, and yes it has returned a work unit since I got it (requirement in the house, any system must return at least one unit on my account)
