there is no way even if microsoft bought adobe they would be allowed to do that. the U.S have some pretty strict laws with doing away with buisness competition and microsoft would be prosecuted in a heart beat if they tried what you said above. forget the U.S, im sure the european union would not like it and do the same

    Agreed.

I personally use Photoshop and Dreamweaver on a daily basis. PC's have offered compatibility and flexibility as a workstation in the corporate environment since the dawn of the technology age. More recently I see and hear more and more of the "Oh you're a designer? You must use a Mac!" Thanks to their recent PR and marketing that is. Its frustrating to see Apple capitalize so much off the ignorance of others. Especially when it spreads as far as business purchases and affairs.

ya it is quite amazing how many people thing design/graphics/audio=mac
i dont think there is a single pc in the liberal arts building at my college.

if you are only using the adobe suite then i dont see why so many ppl think that you must use a mac... i am someone who uses a few adobe products on a very regular basis

Flash doesnt work well on its own, how is combining it with windows going to make it flawless?

Adobe is the epitomy of overpriced bloat. Even more so than MS.
