    Shutdown and restart gives stability?

Have any of you noticed that you get more stability if you change the bios settings and then shutdown and restart instead of going straight to the OS after changing settings?

My OC settings are passing longer in stress testing.

That is peculiar, I can't see how it would make any difference at all what so ever.

I can't recall, but I think the P06 bios automatically restarted when you changed a voltage setting.

The G42 doesn't force a restart unless you change a cpu multiplier. If you tweak voltages, the system doesn't restart. It lets you save and then rolls along.
