    So Cal Edison Commercial:

    756kWh usage = $159.29

    what a freekin' ripoff.

    My delivery charges are $71.53
and the generation charge is $87.59

    and sales tax is $0.17

    that's over $0.21 per kWh
Meh, c'mon up north to PG&E country, Charlie.

I had to temper my addiction after that one.

But I'm back to running one i3 box 24/7 again.
And of course I'm up for another SC week.

Just gotta keep the power bill away from the wife's prying eyes.
    Currently messing with:
    Intel DP55SB Sharpsberg
    i7-860 (stock) under a Zalman CNPS-8700NT cooler
    4x4GB Corsair Vengence @ 1600
XFX Radeon 5850 Black Edition (765, 1125 stock)
Mushkin Chronos DX 240GB and 1.5 TB WD Black
Powered by a Seasonic X-650 and stuffed into a Silverstone GD05 case

    Yeah, it's pretty bad.
Normal bill is around $300 in the summer months.
I haven't even taken the cover off of the A/C unit this year but I have a beater pool and the pumps are hogs.

So I figured the delta of around $165/month was all attributable to the mini-farm.
All of it is at the top rate tier of course and that is just very difficult to justify.

We can only do what we can do I guess.

    Is Edison tiered like PG&E?

residential yes, but at my office (the numbers above) they're flat rate afaik.

Nice! 5 mil will feel awesome, and 10mil even better... I am at 30 mil and have my eyes set on 100 mil... that is going to feel GOOD... it never ends.. but at least this addiction is of benefit to mankind, not a detriment (or is that just a way justifying it??)
