Sounds like you are in for a fun weekend.

Might I suggested cafiene loading starting now, that way you will wind down on Sunday afternoon and you will prolly be in OK shape for Monday back at work.

    Good Luck

as am I. I always try and go unconventional. doing swiftech instead of Alpha, AMD instead of intel (oops), XP333 instead of kr7a. I usually do JUST under the high end average for the norm with my offshoots, but I'm happier because I did it with something a bit different. so, we will see, we will see.

Yea, I've noticed, that was good work you did with the XP333
BTW.... heh, most I ever got was ~2700mb/s and I had
    a "good" rev 2.1

Then again, I sold it before all those really good bios's came
    out......

Anyway, if anyone can pull a fast one with the gigabyte, its you

    Stock settings

    145 FSB

    155 FSB

    160 FSB

stock, 145, 155, and 160..... I'm not too happy as I cant find a way to make the ram go faster than the cpu clock, but there seems to be one to make the ram go slower........ none to happy at this point. but it is early.

Well I'm not familiar with the bios on that board but see if you can set CPU strap to low and use someting like a 3:4 ratio or a 4:5 ratio.

    Here is an IT7 at 163 (it's the closest I have to 160) 3:4

I'v been looking and cant find ANYTHING like that. and I'm getting anoyed since I can make the ram run Slower, but not faster, than the CPU clock..... not sure if it was a gigabyte :banana::banana::banana:up or what..... but it has a bunch to make it scale far, but nothing to make the ram FASTER...... really hope I'm missing something.

the above is my best so far with a timing of 2-5-2-2 and no choice to choose command rate. so far 171, it works great in windows, but it wont shut down. it locks up before it can reset its self, but a hard off and on makes it work.... go figure, but it burns in with no freezes in windows. going to try 175+ tomorrow currently at 1.7V and remember I have no 3:4 ratio so this is all standard FSB. which really erks me.
