Yeah you're right - I tried booting at 1800 cas6 and it simply locked up; had to take out two modules to get back into bios without clearing CMOS

I've spent about £450 on memory alone in the last two months... thankfully I FINALLY got a good kit so I can stop spending now! If only I'd spent that £150 on a 6GB kit from the outset instead of dropping £175 on a 12GB Mushkin kit that cost £20 to import but never once worked

Dear Santa, please can I have another GTX 470 for my e-peen

Id recommend a second 470 all day...

Scan have them around £180 and ocuk keep doing one day specials on the store front page for around £170-£175 (Point of view cards).

If you want to watercool in the future get an evga superclocked from scan for £200ish . Guaranteed reference card that way. Some zotac, palit, gainward cards are non reference. Not sure on the asus v2 either - nobody here has tried it. MSI, Point of View, EVGA definitely reference. Gigabyte and KFA probably are.
