    Two cards running different projects?

Remember me from the failed 65nm GTX260? Yeah I put it to F@H, but as some of you know, the temperature in my area is still over 100s. So now I am back to BOINC.

What I am trying to do:

65nm GTX260 running Collatz, while the 55nm will be back onto GPUGRID.

    How do I do that?

    It's okay.

I am still not over the fact that GPUGRID can't support all three of my cards QQ

There is a thread over at E@H about running 2 or more projects on one card. Alot of the stuff they try and suggest is about controlling what app is on what card so it might be helpful. What they do is not Einstein@Home specific.

And yes he did get more than one app to run on one card.
Whatever you do will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.

    Sorry bud, I missed this.

What I am trying to do here is to run exclusively one project on the 65nm GTX 260 card while doing GPUGRID on the 55nm GTX260. I'm not trying to run different projects on one card.

I really need some help on this because I would love to get more power on GPUGRID.

The folding part is easy... with the -gpu 1 flag.... once you determine which card is which this way, then run the one you want.

GpuGrid on the other hand I'm less sure about but I could experiment tomorrow. meanwhile try running both cards with folding already on one then suspending the instance that is running real slow on grid '.cos it is only getting a couple of percent of processor time

ask if you need more info.

I don't very much feel like folding for now. It needs too much babysitting and it generates WAY too much heat. Also, I do know how to configure them with -gpu flags.

For now I am trying to run them in different BOINC projects.

I just re read the question... doh!

there is a run % variable in some folding to cool things some ???

I never ran collatz...so no help from me

EDIT: Aquick search of boinc reveals no way to pin a project to a particular card.
