DFI 35 mobo swap to EP45-UDP3

I always do fresh install on my mobo setups but i wanna see if I could do a quick swap to MY work pc with my EP45-UDP3 until I have time to do a proper fresh reinstall and just switch my p35 for my p45 using Windows 7 , all parts will be same

the dfi will be faster clock for clock
only reason to put in the gigabut is to clock a quad 500fsb

no need to fresh install just load drivers on the cd

Had my udp3 for a year and a half vs my dfi p35 which is crusty old now lol , id rather use the new board with my e8400 cuase i have ram that pushes it to 475mhz 4 4 4 10 timings 1.1 , the p35 just sputter now on those settings even though man that p35 can do low low performance timings , making it a bit faster clock for clock

so what you guys are saying its definitely going to boot up again and i just reinstall the intel drivers , should i unistall the old Intel drivers ?

ive taken my x58 install and hooked up my p45 and just booted into windows and it just reinstalled the new drivers and just had to reboot and all was good.
done the same with my p45 install and hooked up my p55 and booted into windows and it automatically reinstalled drivers and reboot and good to go.the install
already has the ich8/ich9/ich10 drivers from the original intel update utility(infinst911autol) package

Wish I had gotten the DFI UT P45 when I had the chance, only 775 board I have left is the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P. Good for clocks but as zsamz said DFI was better on bandwidth.

anandtech did like a ten page review on it , it like the holy grail of 775 boards , because its memory can just be tweaked so hard and stable , like no other board . . its was built to push dual cores and rams to there knees , but takes a lot of reading and researching. . . I personally like the Udp3 for easier overclocking , very ram friendly newer chipset , ichr 10 and still bios updates coming . . cant go wrong with ethier in my opinion
