Any real proof that shows Asus boards handle higher FSB speeds better then Abit?

Some people argue that the p4c800e is able to reach higher fsb speeds then the IC7 series.

However, looking around on other sites, it seems to me anyhow that both boards top out around the same rates.

If I wanted to run a 2.4c at a 280mhz+ fsb, is there any chance that a p4c800e would get me there over say a IC7-Max3?

I only have problems with my Max3, gaming wise,

however if you tend to overclock its absolute perfect. I wish I would be able to do all the mods on the asus p4c 800

If you're only looking for 280fsb, the ic7 will hit that. It's when you start getting to 300+ that there's a difference.

I'm Prime95 stable with my IC7 at 284MHz FSB.

My P4P800 non deluxe is boosting my 2.4C up to 308 FSB. Sucks to not have a good PCI lock though.
