Interesting, is it entire "C" shaped part of the case? That is like half of tj07 indeed.
They must be working with silverstone, no way you can manufacture this part that easily. It is probably hardest part of the case to make.
Its been stated many times they are working directly with Silverstone and building a custom case, to their specs, based on the TJ07.
Looks similiar to the old renderings of the "toaster" concept. The slot loading piece at least.
Can't wait to see the inside. Its unfortunate there are so few options for slot loading optical drives. I see none on Newegg anymore in fact. Maybe that will be part of the package and bluray would be necessary.....
Hopefully the case won't cost more than $1000 USD?

With all due respect (and I hold CH in high regard) he has his work cut out for him if the TJ11 is the mule. That's one hideous looking case IMO. It's everything the TJ07 is not.
It definitely is still a TJ07. And since they are working directly w/ Silverstone w/ some of the parts I don't think it will be anywhere near $1000 for just a completed empty case. But if you already have a TJ07 and plan on doing an entire MKII conversion I expect it to be a pretty pricey mod. As from the first teaser posted, the frame is entirely different.
As for a slot loading DVD drive, Silverstone has actually started selling one. It is available at PPCS.
Please don't quote me on this... but i believe there will be a few things.
The MKII is based off the TJ07 uni-body design, but is an entirely different case all together 'in the manufacturing process'(based on the initial photo). Its not a TJ07 'factory modded'. Judging from the pics, it'll follow similar uni-body design, but with a lot of differences both externally and internally. Notably from the first pic... there are no 5.25in drive bays.
However, Charles will be offering parts for the TJ07 so you can get it as close as possible to the MKII without buying the most expensive part of the MKII, the uni-body shell and side pannels. (each have to be custom fitted because the uni-body design is different for each case.)

Looks bloody brilliant!
Another one:
It seems there is one available 5,25 slot, in this case used for aquaero 5 panel.
As for me, first minor disappointment, it seems there is that generic silverstone power button used (plastic). I would expect aliminium or stainless steel buttons in such quality case.

I know asking this is pretty much blasphemous but... any chance of this being a good basis for an air cooled rig?
There probably won't be much airflow in the top compartment but in saying that, its still very much plausible. It just won't run that cool for an air cooled rig.
