4890, alt tab errors in SC2

Been playing SC2.. i cant alt tab on this pc to go back to desktop.. it freezes sc for like 45 seconds when i try to go back to the game

Also, im using free avira antivirus, so every once and a while i get that ad pop up.. SC2 goes back to desktop, and i cant get back into the game..

Is this a driver issue, any settings i can change that may help???


works perfectly fine on 2 nvidia based PCs i have tried. 9600gt and GTS250..

anyone else have this prob???

It did the same thing w/ my HD5970. I have to try w/ my GTX460's however.

just disable alt+tab and the windows key in SC2. Problem fixed. :P

Lol..i alt tabbed once..noticed the problem.. tried it again..confirmed the problem. that's pretty much it. pretty much never did it again..

but it does happened just the same when i get a pop up from avira..which is super random. ive timed out a few tiems cause of that.

its really frustrating..it happened today just before a big push and i had a mother ship out ready for some black hole chaos. .. f*in sucks.

running 10.8 win 7 32.

i did the disable alt tab in the settings..but didnt have much time to play yesterday...

ill send myself an aim message to the phone or something tonight to see if it kicks me back out to desktop with these settings on.

but yeah, Nvidia cards can switch back and fourth quickly. dam ATI drivers.
