Fugger is correct. The internal water inlet is dead center in the reservoir so from an internal geometry stand point there is really no performance difference between horizontal and vertical mounting. He is also correct on the fill/bleed ports so you will want to leave enough play in your tubing to rotate the reservoir 90 degrees for filling and bleeding air. The normal give in most loops is generally enough for this.

One other item to keep in mind. I would recommend mounting the reservoir so that the rear inlet ports are on the bottom to avoid any possible splashing sound. Think of one of those back yard kiddy pools and filling it with a garden hose--if you hold the hose a few feet above the pool you hear the water splashing. If you hold the garden hose under the water in the pool it is silent. Goofy analogy I know, sorry. The instruction manual identifies the rear ports for you.

Or you could make things really simple and just run it like this: http://www.hardocp.com/image.html?im...1fN18yX2wuanBn
If I'm a danger to myself just think what I could do to you.

    Woot for cubers!

Actually you could just put a towel or something soft down to protect the side of the case and put it on it's side for filling and then stand it back up when your done. Not sure if that would be easier then just rotating the reservoir 90 when your filling/bleeding air though.

Yeh, I was planning on putting the case on it's side when filling. It's a relatively irregular operation so I can live with that. I've also considered running it on its side 24/7 but as always, it's good to know that I have multiple options

    Thanks for the info.

A repost from the fitting thread--I figured since they are mounted on an M2 D5 Premium why not post here too =)

Thought I would share a few pictures I took of the Chain Gun's installed on an M2 D5 Premium. It is a beater test mule we had laying around the shop, (it doesn't even have a face plate installed) but good enough to get an idea of how nice the Chain Gun's look in red. I think you guys are going to be blown away by how beautiful and solidly made these are. Resellers will have them in stock in singles and four packs by Friday or Monday. Three sizes and six colors to start.

I appreciate you guys spreading the word!

It's about time to tear down and clean my loops. I think I may wait a bit longer (until I can get me some of these puppies), and give a wee bit of visual upgrade to them. Sweet new bling from BG!
