Did you remove the filters as well...thats going to cause some massive dust build up on the rad....

And Knet thats an awesome build...

I did remove them, so far no dust at all, probably because there's a space of about 2cm between the rad and the bottom of the case, enough for air to be sucked in, but apparently no dust

Probably the Swiftech one, also you can only fit a 4x120mm rad if you remove one side of the bay cage, I'll take some more detailed pictures later if you want.

Swiftech thin rads more or less also the only ones worth to get, as while they are a little bit thicker then other thin rads (38mm vs 30mm), they are also only ones with sensible 14 FPI unlike mad 30 FPI for those thin ones like BI GTS / some Koolance ones.

I can also recommend magicool thin rads. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance of mine, especially at the price.

You could install a magnetic filter on the underside of the floor since it is a steel floor. In fact, I have one custom made (magnetic filter) that covers the whole floor, which should arrive anyday now. I will post a picture of it when it gets here from South Africa.

Here's pics of my setup, I wish I had taken more pics during the build.
Only one side of the bay cage needs to be removed, as it is connected to the bottom cage as well, case is still stable as a rock though.
I think I have a pic somewhere of it de-riveted (entire case) as I replaced the rivets with all black ones, I could probably illustrate where to drill the holes in the bottom panel then. I'll see if the pic's somewhere on the HDD.
The radiator bracket is marked in red in the one pic.

Yep, it would be possible to use filters.
Also, as someone else said, you could use a weak magnetic clip on filter on the bottom of the case.
I'm using a HW Labs GTX480 radiator

Makes me happy seeing this. I don't need more than 2 optical drives max, so I can always put some 3.5 & 2.5" drives in the 5.25" bays, which would allow for more rad!

I think the general view is that it is not worth sticking with the stock fans...

In term of surface area the rads are equal. As the 140x3 is shorter, you might be able to fit the pump on the bottom of the case next to the rad.

Here's mine.

Since the last photos I have added a second GTX 470 with Koolance block and interconnect, I will get some new photos uploaded at the weekend.

1 triple and 1 single rad have been perfect for keeping temps of overclocked sli GTX 470's and i920 down.... In fact I probably could have managed with a single triple rad just with higher temps.....

I figured it would be static pressure. That really sucks. I like the FT02...

If I was going air, I'd get this case over my TJ06 (Which is AMAZING!) Looks like I'll finally have to do a custom case as nothing on the market suits me.

A quad rad ( or in your case, triple) is a nice option. I'll be forced to do SLI in future as my lone 470 handles 2560 alright, but not amazingly.


Btw, the mugen is a nice cooler. Keeps my PII 945 almost room temp at stock.

I find that a triple rad and single rad at the top have been great for overvolted i920 and a pair of GTX 470's, also I kept the dust filters in place...
