That's funny....anyway what width rad would fit with dust falters
Swiftech thin rads more or less also the only ones worth to get, as while they are a little bit thicker then other thin rads (38mm vs 30mm), they are also only ones with sensible 14 FPI unlike mad 30 FPI for those thin ones like BI GTS / some Koolance ones.
I can also recommend magicool thin rads. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality and performance of mine, especially at the price.
If I'm a danger to myself just think what I could do to you.
knet370: That must be the Raven 01 you have there? I almost forgot the existance of the original Raven. Very nice! Thank you for posting!
century child: Glad to hear you like your Magicool rad, as some of us maybe uncomfortable getting a not well known brand that may not performance as good as some of the commonly talked about ones. First hand user experience with any product is golden feedback for many of us. Thanks!
Here's pics of my setup, I wish I had taken more pics during the build.
Only one side of the bay cage needs to be removed, as it is connected to the bottom cage as well, case is still stable as a rock though.
I think I have a pic somewhere of it de-riveted (entire case) as I replaced the rivets with all black ones, I could probably illustrate where to drill the holes in the bottom panel then. I'll see if the pic's somewhere on the HDD.
The radiator bracket is marked in red in the one pic.
or you could just use one of those 1080 mo ra 2 or 3 rads on the outside of the case.
Hey school, that looks like you have taken the filters out, right?
Thanks for clearing that up.so would it be possible to use the filters as we'll? Also which rad is that?
Thanks man...and my last question...does it require cutting the drive bays or just removing the rivets?
Makes me happy seeing this. I don't need more than 2 optical drives max, so I can always put some 3.5 & 2.5" drives in the 5.25" bays, which would allow for more rad!
The link to the other FT02 thread really makes me want to get this case and do this: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...n/DSC_0310.jpg
If you're sticking with the stock fans, is it worth going 120x4 or 140x3?
You must [not] advance.

I see thanks. I'd prefer a shorter rad IF I could find good 140mm fans. Not sure there are any out yet.
I'm a little confused as to why the 180mm fans are not so good... especially if you bought a rad w/ low FPI. I have a case w/ one of those 180mm fans and it moves a whole lot of air. Low static pressure? It does a good job for me.

Here's mine.
Since the last photos I have added a second GTX 470 with Koolance block and interconnect, I will get some new photos uploaded at the weekend.
1 triple and 1 single rad have been perfect for keeping temps of overclocked sli GTX 470's and i920 down.... In fact I probably could have managed with a single triple rad just with higher temps.....
The standard 180mm fans were bad as wc fans even with low fpi rad, not enough static pressure and also difficult to channel airflow through rad effectively..... I found this out over the course of my latest Raven 2 build, check out my log here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ighlight=raven
I figured it would be static pressure. That really sucks. I like the FT02...
If I was going air, I'd get this case over my TJ06 (Which is AMAZING!) Looks like I'll finally have to do a custom case as nothing on the market suits me.
A quad rad ( or in your case, triple) is a nice option. I'll be forced to do SLI in future as my lone 470 handles 2560 alright, but not amazingly.
Btw, the mugen is a nice cooler. Keeps my PII 945 almost room temp at stock.

I find that a triple rad and single rad at the top have been great for overvolted i920 and a pair of GTX 470's, also I kept the dust filters in place...
