If you're after information on system hardware then there's tools available, but if you're after benchmarks then not as much. Intel provide the LinX benchmarking tool, but it only runs on Intel processors. You can get Prime and SuperPI ... I know there are others but I've never really bothered.

I'm impatiently sitting here pressing f5 on various tracking websites for memory, heat sinks and a PSU. looks like the memory is waiting for me at home, the PSU should arrive hopefully tomorrow and I have no clue about the HS's as they only say "left san jose cali"

Maybe you need to use the F5 on a Spanish keyboard for that one?

Sorry to hear that, Rise. All in good time. I was the same way about power supplies and hard drives. I couldn't wait to implement!

The PSU might come with the six pin and one eight pin, just need the the other two eight pin connectors. Radio shack might if you have one of the bigger ones and not the consumer electronics ones.....

they go together easily enough, and it looks like the mounting hardware lines up perfectly to the 2 holes surrounding each CPU socket. I haven't secured them all 100% yet though because the 2 that are next to each other may need a slight slight mod to fit correctly.

Looking good. You got the heatsink deal of the year as far as I'm concerned. Looks like it wont be too hard to mod those two that are touching either

i must agree. 20 bucks for 4 heat sinks, shipped is pretty much unbeatable IMO. I can't help but feel like they lost money just sending these to me.

Nice! Make sure you have a SATA HD and a SATA DVD drive laying around. Although I think the Ubuntu ISO will fit on a CD. No more setbacks, get 'er crunchin'!
