UK stocks of 1 Gb GTX 460s seem to be running out

Lots of GTX 460s are now out of stock, with prices on the last few remaining on decent models spiking up.

Scan are out of MSIs, OCUK have two left that they increased to £211, while being completely out of Asus models. Scan are selling the Asus 1 Gb at just £170, which seems to be the current best option left to go for, but I doubt those are going to be around for long at that price.

Nvidia has +1 sale success o.O!!!

Ebuyer still has a few (currently 94 in stock for the Palit Sonic), even Scan offer plenty of models to choose from.

If you mean cheap 1GB models, well only a few have been available at ~£170, the others priced higher have always been like that.

Its the MSI / Asus / Gigabte ones that I'm mostly concerned about.

Gigabyte ones are still available in most places, the Asus / MSI ones arent.

Yea there is now, there have been a couple of new deliveries to sites that were low or OOS when I made this thread.

They are selling well, and there are plenty available too.

If anything I would think there'd be more of the GF104s manufactured than the Fermis, because it's simpler architecture and the yield should be much better. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if they're sitting on a ton of GF104s that passed thermal testing better than the 460s because that's the chips the 475s will be made from. It wouldn't make sense to use the best quality chips and only have 336 cores in use. I think they're just reserving the good ones and waiting until the 470s sell out before they release the 475. There might even be some complete 475 cards already made.
