    Exclamation Strange problem guys

So while im in game and playing a game , the screen starts to flicker here and there and then it stops and comes back on later . Another moment out of nowhere , screen shutdown and all of a sudden my gpu drivers have been recovered succesfully? When i am overclocking and cant stay stable with vantage thats what happens somtimes, but im gaming at the specs i got the cards from EVGA.. WHat you guys think this could be happening? Very strange and only in games with gets like this.

Clean out drivers and reinstall is a good starting point

    Power issue?
Check if the PSU can handle your system specc, also check PCI-e power cables - have you connected both etc?

If all else fails, i'd just think that it's a bad card.

Yea I will do all the above and see what happens . Yes I have a hx850 power supply which is sli rated etc . I hope it's not the secondary pcie cables for my 2nd card that are going bad :/ .. I know there was a thread about it a while ago .

Heat for GPU(s) or heat causing efficiency drop of the PSU over time.

All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.

Depends what PSU he has. If its any kind of PSU with quality to it even in a toasty environment the PSU shouldn't be dropping below around 80% efficiency.

Seems like 1 of my gpus is htting 99c immed !! While the other is just around 73c. Did a couple tests yesterday . I disabled sli to run the card that runs cooler and haven't had a problem .. I talked to evga about it and I said I might try applying my own Tim on it but honestly I think something is just wrong with it . When I start a bench test the ba card immed hits 99c wihin 10 seconds of the test .. I had my computer reboot on me 3 times last night but when I just ran single with the normal card
, no glicthes or reboots or crashes .. Hmmm

Its possible the cooler just isn't making good contact. Deffinately worth trying a remount IMO.

Ok well I took apart and applied my own thermal paste , temps are great !! I'm still getting problems tho gaming .. Game gets choppy , screen blacksout sometimes , some objects and shapes don't fully appear while playing in game .. I tried with sli disabled in the nvidia control panel and the game runs smoother , when I have sli enabled it seems to give me
problems then .. What you guys think could be the problem?

Ok i think i figured out the problem. I tested each card 1 by 1 . The 1 card that runs cooler stock voltage on afterburner is 1012 . Now the other card stock voltage and runs warmer is 975 in afterburner. LOL i dont get it? They are both the same cards...Gonna have to RMA the lower volatge one and get another card, i think thats what the problem was in SLI , not enough power going to the 1 card and it was dragging the other card as well.
