    *GTX460 ONLY!* AvP benchmark results

Title says it all guys. I thought I would start this more out of curiosity than anything, but there are guidelines to follow to ensure results are roughly comparable

    Guidelines:

    - Resolution MUST be 1680*1050 (keeps it so pretty much everybody can join in)
    - Texture quality and Shadow quality MUST be set to maximum
    - All DX11 features MUST be enabled
    - AA MUST be set to 4x
    - SSAO MUST be on
    - Say what your GPU and memory clocks are
    - Say what drivers you are using
    - Screenshot

Guess I'll start as I've just run the AvP benchmark

Indeed they can. As long as they are GTX460s all are welcome.

My 470 can finish this bench on 900mhz although it is not stable at that clocks in other benchmarks. it is stable at 880.

There is a seperate Tool that will load the game for you. AvP Tool Benchmark.
Google it. It will be around 1 meg if I remember correctly. I did the same thing until I realized this.

im confused, but maybe its just the drivers... why would you only be getting 36FPS to my 35FPS when you have a better processor and 45mhz more on your card than me? Does this bench not benefit that much from OC'ing?

Ishb3w - where did you get those drivers from ? Also , look at your OC tho , your at 4ghz so your CPU speed is faster then his which helps as well . Just cuz chips maybe be older or whatever don't mean anything , it's all about the speeds man you should be happy !! Lol

It was probably a combo of drivers and the 400 mhz cpu advantage you have. This bench may not take advantage of 4 cores. I bumped my cpu up to 4ghz and the score went up so thats probably it.

i would have thought that 400mhz on the CPU wouldnt have mattered as much, guess i was wrong. thanks for testing that out.

Hell your hytng about 37fps with settings like this ? I think that is extremely great considering price for the cards . Do u have Vantage to test your current oc ?

No , I never bought that bench. I hate watching it run, it is worse than 06 to me. I have ran the free trial when I first got this card. See the "460 OC " thread for my 06 score @ 1015.

Has nothing to do with the GAME per say, we are doing comparisons on each others benches etc for overvolting purposes , core OC , and MEM OC as well. Just seeing what scores we can achieve with all our different specs, BIOS flash etc all using the same interface to bench with. As you can see the thread titled Bench Results

Vantage is a way more stable way of doing so, or if you want a game FC2 and Crysis are better picks with benching.
