I know this is probably the wrong thread to ask in, but I have a friend who went from a GTX 260 C216 to a eVGA 460 1Gb and he got a FPS hit in BC2 (his main game). I had him run Vantage and his score (GPU P14k) was around the right mark and I also had him stress test in OCCT for 30 mins with no trouble. He has a Q9300 at stock, could that be his problem? CPU bottleneck? I just don't see why his FPS would go down from a 260 to a 460 even if there is a bottleneck.

Or could this just be a driver problem? I've heard some 400 series cards are only getting 50% GPU usage in BC2.

Yes lol def CPU bottleneck , these cards need OCing to def shine.. Tell him to bump up his CPU . i have the same cards as your friend and tell him to push the evgas a bit more . He could also try the modified dirver that KET has tweaked out, also i am waitig for Ket to midify the evga bios i had submitted which will allow higher voltages for the GPU cards.

Yeah, thats a bottleneck. Get that Q9300 up to around 455x8 (3.6GHz) and OC the RAM as much as possible. Then watch that bottleneck dissappear and FPS/benchmarks skyrocket.
