ASUS Rampage III Formula ROCKS? :) 261+ 8M STABLE ON AIR!

Hi guys,, i am happy to check this mb. I am not a review guy so i will just share some photo and results on air..

This is ES Rampage III Formula. It rocks even with a very early bios.

Below some tests, not tweaked.. just set and run

bclck ?? How high you would like to "without" slow mode??

    229-230MHz 2D all the way stable ??

    superpi 1m ??

    superpi 32m ??

Okay now with slow mode enable!

Upper is R3E and below is R3F

    test setup ??

i will add vid for 261 8m run

    Note1 : NO BUGGY RUN
Note2: For comperation with R3E ?? i didnt do any air overclocking with R3E because it is my LN2 mb but i am sure above ones can be easily replicate on R3E on air

I dont think anyone had any complaints about this board with gulftown,it was with bloomfield that some had issues with high bclk without the use of slowmode.

Sorry to derail ya thread Hey :

Zsamz : Stop being silly and stop ing in every thread. Do something about it !
Either sell your crap board or contact an Asus guy here and ask for a swap... There's nothing wrong with RE3 and Bloomfield in my book... some boards are just better than other ones, ..., and sadly some really suck... by just staring at it, it will not improve... it's a chipset issue, not bios related...

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Reading all the stuff about the RIIIE here, I'll give mine a try later to find my max BCLK.

Bear in mind that it is fully stable at 200 BCLK on just 1.25v QPI, whereas my UD5 used to require 1.4v for 200 BCLK.

I didnt go higher because I would have to reduce my CPU + Ram clocks (Ram would need to be reduced from 1600 Mhz to 1333 Mhz, and getting it back up to 1600 Mhz at the lower multi would never happen).

I had major problems getting 4.2 Ghz stable, but thats because I have a poor I7, not the boards fault. I were really wanting a 32 nm upgrade, but theres nothing affordable, so I'll wait until more of my warranty has passed and then lap it.
