Question GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 460 1GB OC Video Card Waterblock

So is there a company that makes a block for this? I was on EKs website and i didnt see that they had this particular card under their list. Seems like these particular cards are a big seller as well. Any help would be appreciated or Eddy if your around maybe you can chime in. Thanks

At the moment the only blocks you'll find in stock in North America are the Koolance VID-NX460, which is available @ PPC.

    Picture of the NON-Reference-Design-PCB:

Ergo: None of the fullcover-waterblocks (EK Waterblocks, Koolance, Aquacomputer) will fit.

Yeah, just want to take some fullcovers for my GTX 460 SLI and there is such bad news
Any ideas how to fit this waterblock ( EK Water Blocks EK-FC460 GTX ) to GV-N460OC-1GI? Or maybe exist another cover for this PCB?

Next time you buy a card you may want to verify that it uses a reference design as there is no way any current blocks will fit.

I said it before but I guess it bears repeating, Gigabyte and ASUS really don't have a very good reputation for using reference boards for their products. Stick with companies that are partners with your choice of GPU chip maker, they'll have the highest rate of reference cards.

Hmm, one of my GTX 460 cooled with Promodz GPU V3 (popular universal waterblock in RU), some hand tricks and it fits to the card, but shouldnt. So... maybe with fullcovers I can do the same? I'll work with any tools hardly (file?)

"Waterblock doesnt fit to my card" - not the ideal reason for returning for my seller

    Wink

To all enthusiasts, which want to put a (nearly-)fullcover-waterblock (GPU & RAM) on a NONE-Reference-GTX460:

    XSPC makes it possible:

I'd say get a GPU-only block and some heatsinks. Even when under load and overclocked, the RAM and VRM of the GTX460 don't get extremely hot (unlike for example those of the GTX480). Though of course a fullcover block looks much nicer, a GPU-only block can be used multiple times on next generations, so though you may not save a lot of money right now, it will probably save you money in the long run.

There are no GPU only blocks that will fit a GTX460.

I did say the XSPC 1.. besides - I didn't think there were any suitable mounts for the 460 currently - which is why the XSPC 1 wins, good value, more cooling coverage so fewer sinks are required

Well it possibly might. But I don't think anyone would purchase it on a 'might fit.'

Ok, if I could I'll buy any fullcover like EK and will try to fit it to my cards
Anyway, I have universal waterblock Promodz, it's fixed on my card with only 2 screws instead of 4 because GF104 GPU is right-angled But, I should say, temps are very and very pretty low like cover. And for the VRM I made stock fan by myself. So... Who want to do it will do it

Guapa5000, thanks for the images, its very interesting idea to do something like this
