New method? They increased the size of intermediate buffers and the benefit is at low to moderate levels of tessellation.

Depending on the program. Heaven shows a bit of improvement but not a lot, MS's tesselation program fits ok.

    Here's the 16-pixel propaganda slide:

    Hi all !
Is AI good ? While it seems to help some apps, others work well without. Any tips would be greatly appreaciated.

    EDIT
These runs were done using full screen mode.

I noticed that about windowed mode too , NapalmV5. And I'll bet your scores will jump 10-20% with a 64bit OS. No Physx ?

Hmm, i actually see the exact opposite, higher fps fullscreen, lower in windowed, which is what i would expect as well. Though on insane it makes literally 4 points of a difference.

I'll run a few more to be sure. The results I've posted were done in full screen mode.

OOops my bad heh.. The 10-20% I was thinking about, was the difference between Win7 64bit and Xp 64bit. Although, I have seen some performance gain going from 32 to 64 bit OS, but that was on 2 way less powerful systems.

    Peace

    EDIT

I stand corrected for now. Fullscreen IS showing higher scores lol. But, I know I saw what I saw ! lmao
