Corsair AX & HX Power Supply requests and suggestion

I have a request for the new AX & HX series Power Supplies. Can you make different size cables? Maybe have three sizes to choose from? I am sure you seen many guys on here with there Custom sleeve jobs, and will sell out of them when you make them. You can add them on your Store etc..

    1. short size (HTPC) $19.99
    2. Standard length (stock) 24.99
    3. Extra long for (Tower cases)35.99

It's pretty nasty to do cable management with HX1000 inside tower cases, especially the 8-pin and 24-pin cables.

are you guys planning making extra cables? As of right now I been buying only SilverStone series fully modular because they have the different size cables. Not trying to tell you how to run your business but I am positive if you make them they will sell out.

I can't comment on unreleased or unannounced products but, if I get any information that I can share I will post it here. I have asked the PM for clarification.

AX 1200w should have a few long cable, because that's a good PSU for EVGA SR-2, and that MB is HUGE.

SR-2 needs a 10-slots case actually, so if you are mounting the PSU at the bottom you would need a few really long cables, specially a couple for 8-pins CPU, and couple of optional 6-pins that would need a long cable too.

I've actually a AX 1200W on order (it is delayed again EAT next week ) for my SR-2 build, and have been hoping that cables will be long enough when i move it to a new proper case.

Extra long I could see....but anyone wanting to do a nice custom job will cut cables to specific lengths anyway IMHO

I had to engage in an epic battle with the 8-pin EPS connectors on my HX-1000 to get them to run behind the mobo rather than across the middle of the case. They put up a hell of a fight, but I got them to go eventually. Would have definitely appreciated an option for longer cables, especially for the 24-pin and 8-pin connectors - in a PSU where everything else is modular excess length on these is really not that much of a problem for those with small cases.

Longer cables/tighter spaced SATA power connectors would be nice also (single spaced/double spaced rather than nearly triple spaced)
