Yeah you are right, but i wanted to see the gain between 2000mhz@7-9-7 and 2000mhz@6-9-6 even it is a 4gb kit...

Thanks for the info..
If you give high vram, for example 1.80+, is it possible to decrease trcd from 9 to 8?

nope
impossible
i went up to 1.85V but trcd9 is a must be there
and over 1.77-1.80 it doesnt scale
for example ,if i want to high clock these rams for just high clock validation i have to go trcd11 then 2.7-2.8 no problems at all with 860 if you do it like 9-11-11-31-2T-100trfc

Does something by the name "overclocking illuminati elite" exist around here? A group who does magic and voila they get these Dominator GT 2000Mhz sticks running at 2000mhz with so low vQPI and vDIMM???! I mean there are many many people busting their ass to get these stable even at 1600mhz.
Guys, please help me (who is literally going insane) here. First I have 2000mhz CL7 then I thought something was wrong with them and I bought the newer 2000mhz CL8 (CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 ) but still not stable. I mean I have tried EVERYTHING ! Setting sub-timings manually accordingly to CPU-tweaker's SPD, loosening the timings. setting vQPI from 1.5 to 1.6, (by the way with bclk 200), changing CPU (920 and 930 with pretty good batch actually - low vcore), changing motherboard (P6T6 WS Revolution). I mean what in satan's name do you do guys to get it stable?? Or that's one of your illuminati rules - not revealing the spells ?!!
Is there anything special in the sub-timings that is the pain in the ass here or what?
Don't give me that "overclocking has no garantee bla bla" and as I can see, you guys haven't used any particular good cpus in your pictures here.
I use prime95 to test for the stability. In my OC, I set the CPU multiplier very low below stock. So, only OCing the RAM with BCLK. my unstability in prime95 has a weird pattern. I use FFTs from 768 - 4096. right? When the vQPI is around 1.5, all FFTs from 2048 - 4096 are stable but FFTs from 768 - 2048 is unstable and onle ONE thread stops (not more). As I up the vQPI a notch, the unstability goes one FFT-level up. Then keeps going till I hit vQPI 1.61 or something. (first time I thought that I got stable there) and then I ran the FFTs from 768 - 2048 and then BOOOM. The unstability had gone in circle and back to the begining.
Got the best cooling ever for the CPU as well. Low low temps..
So, what the hell is that? I have vIOH set to 1.24v and CPU PLL set to 1.8v. Please show me a way here or I'm gonna have to jump off a cliff...

I have had my Dominator 2000c8's for a year now an they are still running strong. But figured it was time to try something new, and cheaper to have as a backup kit. These are the Mushkin Redline 1600's 6 8 6 24, so far they are running good at 2000mhz 7 9 7 24 on 1.66v, 169.00 for a 3x2gb kit.

Alphacool Custom Water Cooling
Seems to be a good kit, especially for the price. Thanks.
Put my 920 in, and raised the uncore frequency, it still passed HyperPi with a couple bumps of QPI.

Very nice ram, but that uncore on water is nicer Good backup kit for sure.

Thanks CryptiK, have a second kit of mushkin ordered, the radioactive. Hope they do as well.
Hello everybody.
I'm to have this memory 8-9-8-24-2T (rev. 7.1a) , but he not working on nominal, i set all manually in bios not working.
I set the qpi/DDR to 1.65, vcore to 1.31250, still not working on there 2000MHZ. Can somebody help me ? =(
My rig: Asus Rampage III Gene/ Core i7 950/ Zotac GTX 580/ Corsair AX850
All what i can take from this memory is 7-8-7-7-20-1T at 1600Mhz, qpi/drr = auto, vDDR = 1.64, i7 950 @ 4 GHZ = 1.3000v
Tell me please what this is may be ? Bad processor who not tak 4Ghz uncore ? or i do something wrong ?
mine are not to shabby either

Very cool update. What cooling are you using for the CPU?
Yes, Yellowbeard, a tall rough man with a big yellow beard
WC bro.
HT On the temps would have been way lower but not as stressful as ht off on linx and they are the same vcore for i7 2600k

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
Got these results on my rig, after a comon working week.
I am learning at the moment so am i just bootleggin' sorry
I am not gonna comment as i must go on with testings.
Cheers

Hello
In the title is shown "2000 8-9-8 1.5v", but the specifications indicate 1.65v (and also on the stick)
Why?
Thanks

The CMT4GX3M2A2000C8 ver. 7.1 (8-9-8-24) are also good in OC that CMT6GX3M3A2000C8 ver. 7.1A (8-9-8-24)?
Thanks
