Like I said some while ago:

Things that would survive a nuclear holocaust: roaches, Lemmy Kilmister and G92.
Murray Walker: "And there are flames coming from the back of Prost's McLaren as he enters the Swimming Pool."

James Hunt: "Well, that should put them out then."

Releasing a product like this now reminds of the story of Japanese soldiers on isolated islands not knowing the war was actually over long after it was.

Like these engineers have been holed up in the labs conjuring up this product without any communication to the outside world.

That's because Nvidia are stronger then ATI.

    NO.

    G92 is stronger than ATI.

ATI only has energy efficient cards with high performance that have had DirectX11 much longer than Fermilicious.

G92 will live on forever. 8800GTS 512MB FTW.

interesting layout. although coming out with it now is questionable when fermi cards are starting to hit mainstream.

and although they have some nice non-ref designs sometimes, i will never guy another zotac product. why come out with stuff when they can't even support the older things? i have a card in RMA for almost 3 months now and no replacement shipped yet. their website says turnaround time is 1 month max....

Well if G92 can survive a nuclear winter and ATI can't then the victor is Nvidia. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that one out

    Wow, talk about overkill...

The only use I can see for this card is F@H and then only if it's priced below $150.

One thing I do like on it is the pwm section and its cooling. Looks tough.

Could use it as a physx card, but yeah i get where ur coming from, why buy a more expensive dual card when a single core card would do the job and require less $$

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

I agree this card is silly but comparing gt250 to 8800gts 512mb is even sillier. It's like comparing 1985 Ford Taurus to 2010 model and claiming they are the same (yes I used a car analogy, live with it!). G92 came a long way whether you wanna accept it or not.
