    *** GTX560 Ti 448 core Waterblocks & Overclocks Thread ***

    I'll start.

My EVGA GTX560 Ti 448 core FTW.

The PCB is exactly the same as the EVGA GTX570 hd

I'll be using my trusty DD Maze 5 (This will be the third GPU I have mounted this block on. What a great value!). Using the stock Ram/Vreg heatsink plate I
    attache the mounting hardware.

Back side of the plate. The 4-40 nuts hold the block mounts in place.

Block installed. I drilled through the ears on the Delrin top so the rods would extend through

Back side of plate with the block attached

    Various Angles

Springs & Nylon washers in place

Brass nuts painted. This is actually red. For some reason this looks orange?

I had to file down two corners of the block to fit flush on the plate.

    Block + Plate mounted!

    Installed!

I ran two hours of BF3 64 man Back to kardand maps and the max temp was 40c.

Overclocking, and more temps coming soon. Enjoy!

Yep. Lets just say I have a lot of down time at the office, so this keeps me from getting board
Plus my business is computer/tech driven.

    Here we go!

    Does 880mhz @ stock Voltage
And Maxes out @ 42c after two hours of BF3 64man

Next up, I play with Higher clocks and Volts!

    Here's 3dmark11 score @ 905mhz, and 1.05 volts. Temps topped out @ 43c.

Next I Push the volts to 1.1
Also bare in mind these are %100 stable clocks (i.e. can run stability test, benchmarks, and make It through hours of bf3 gaming.

Thats pretty damn sweet. I might try and find a deal on one of these 448 560 Ti cards if you can crack 1GHz GPU without crazy volts

    Thanks!

I'm super happy with it for $275. At stock clocks (797mhz) it trades blows with a ref 570 (most time it beats a 570). At 900mhz it's right in between the 570 and 580.

    I've been playing with 950mhz @ 1.1v

I'll have some benches up soon for 950. However I suspect OCP may be affecting it over 900. May have to start bios modding

Not bad at all. If you can use proper TIM on the VRMs instead of the crappy thermal pads. That always gives me +10-20MHz while at the same time keeping the VRMs quite a bit cooler.

I was actually thinking about pulling it apart again and using ceramique on everything. Im just not shure it will make contact anymore without the pads. The pads look to be around 1.5mm thick. I guess I can lay the ceramique on really heavy.

I'm benching my SLI 560 448 on 925mhz with 1.1v on water. Max temps are around ~35 degrees load. 3dmark 2011 is 11500 with both cards. Looking for a way to increase the voltage to 1.2v.

    Nice!

As for your voltage cap, upload your bios and i'll remove it for you.

Thanks! So the only thing you changed is the 3dvoltage to a 1.2 default? Great

    It worked. 975 with 1.175v! 3dmark 2011 is now 7330 with 2500k@5.2Ghz

Next up is SLI with two of these

    Nice!

I'm sure you figured it out by now, but I just moved the voltage cap from 1.1 to 1.2.

BTW make sure you have very good cooling on the VRM section of your card/s. If your using full water blocks your fine. If not you need heatsinks and a fan blowing over them.

That stock heat sink plate on the memory and vreg is very well built. Better than what MSI puts on the TFIII PE/OC 448.

Going to post a link to my BIOS for voltage tweakage soon. Thanks in advance.

Just unlocked my voltage from 1.1 to 1.213, which is the maximum unlock-able voltage. Haven't done any benches yet with 1.213v. I will be able to break 1GHz 3dmark11 results for sure, though.

My cards are EVGA 560Ti 448 Cores Classified Edition's. They have the same PCB as the GTX480. So I went and got some unisinks and some mcw82's and went to town on them. I also got some EVGA GTX480 backplates, but they are incompatible with the size screws swiftech uses to mount the unisink.

    Current result: 970mhz core with 1.1v: P12888

As soon as I get some colder temps, I'll do a 5GHz cpu with maxed out gpu's!
