2 rows is exactly that, 2 rows of tubes per pass (1 stacked on top of the other). This applies to most rads (excluding the GTX and SR1, IIRC)

2 pass is also just that, the water comes in and leaves on the same end of the rad must make 2 passes (1 down, 1 up) to get through the rad.

The gaps near the end cap is there to stop the solder dripping down while being made. But when you use a Fan gasket you won't loose any airloss.

Skinnee will hopefully have some results within the next few weeks, should be good to see how these do.

Are these made in the UK at the same factory or the ones made in china.

If they are the UK ones are they EU compliant e.g "Lead solder free" to pass EU standards in radiator design which is a must now a days.

Any one know ! mi all so heard on the grape vine they were looking into 3 pass as "Marci" Said its supposed be a improvement.

Test sample arrived... have about 2 days before it can be looped up on the bench. The method I have used previously for testing radiators has been retired, and a new test procedure is being used, one that takes a lot longer, but produces a lot more data to view.

Anyhow... pics will come later today.

Noticed it added among new products here @wcuk. So probably release real soon now . I wonder how it will stack compared to XSPC RX v2, and will it be Feser Admiral Killer

    Thanks!

The tube spacing change is rather interesting. It seems most of the revisions in the past have all been fins per inch, it only makes sense to experiment a little with the tube spacing too.

I suspect this should be a slight tuning more toward low speed fan performance..but we'll see..

Thanks for the preview and look forward to your results..

Kind of my way of making sure the review doesn't take forever, get the preview going before it hits the bench and continue until testing is done. We'll see if my theory works.

Sorry for the delay with completing the TA review, in testing we discovered a potential problem and reported it back to Thermochill. We are working with Thermochill, now waiting for a new triple to see if the issue has been resolved.

I know, hoping it was an isolated problem with the only first small batch that rolled off the line.

It won't eat the last of your fruity pebbles in the middle of the night or anything. It is actually quite minor, but like every part, if something is way off, broken, horrible or looks dumb, we let the company know first.

Well done . I'd hate to see another overblown vendor bashing thread.

I would like to hear about the problem a bit more details, too, as I considering buying a pair of TAs for may setup.

Found a couple of German tests of new TA120s:

New Thermochill rads do not look impressive at all, especially in quads roundup

I just looked at those reviews and Wow, what did they do... Although, I have a hard time believing a test unless it's validated by someone else. Hurry Skinnee

    And what's 'the problem'?
    upgrading...

I'm out of town at the moment, but the tests were completed just before I left... So, I'll have the data published over the weekend or next week, I'll get on it as soon as I get back home.

Problem was with the fin to tube solder joints, the joint just wasn't consistent enough for my liking.
