    Need advice on K Type

I just bought a Extech EA10 thermometer and it was advertised as range -200C to 1360C, thought it came with corresponding probes. The probe it came with are only -30C to 300C range. Where can I find a k type probe -200C that will work, I seem to have issues finding them.

    TIA,
    Ryan

Ebay, Kingpins shop, Hvac stores....heck, even a good electronics or hardware store. Does this mean that SR-2 is going to get chilly?? Bon chance, mon ami!!

Normally the probes are just calibrated from e.g. -30 to 300°C. But they will also display lower temperatures. Maybe the real temp differs from the displayed. But it doesn't matter whether it shows -145 or -140. Because you just need it to know where the coldbug is.
