    Q6600 G0 VID 1.325 OC help.

    Q6600 G0 VID 1.325 OC help.

Title says all. I currently have a Q6600 G0 on a Asus Maximus II Formula.

I currently have it at 3.6 with 1.62 volts, temps ehh, kinda high it reaches 75c 100% under prime95.

I had this CPU for a while now, and I'm not afraid to push it even more. Just wondering if 1.62volts is already at a safe 24/7 limit.

Before I got abit better at Overclocking, I could only reach 3.4 non stable :P

Well you can tell, just by the VID. It isn't a really nice chip. I could get my other Q6600 1.28 vid to 3.6 with only 1.40 v

My friend has a 1.32 too and needs alot of v to get around 3.6.I got a lucky one with 1.26vid.
I would lower the volts and clock or get better cooling!
