So I have brought a cruncher back online. Didn't have a desktop down at school last year and my brother wouldn't let me keep one running at home so I've been out of the game since last summer. This time around its running ubuntu x64 because I also use it for work, but somehow its managed to run the same speed in ubuntu as I did in vista x86. Only bad thing is I almost destroyed the system in getting it up to speed, set the nb volts too low and it fried a ram slot.
Main thing is I'm back and glad to be here. Depending on how things go I might be able to get my phenom 2 rig setup with ubuntu as well, just need to transport it to school.
