    I have a simple list for Cats 10.7 and I hope these points have been addressed;

    - Optimise tessellation performance (rumor is ATI are working on using some stream processors to aid the tessellation unit)
    - Fix the stupid 2D clock bug thats been there since Cats 10.5
    - Fix the bug that causes a blank screen and forces a hard reset when installing the driver
    - Return performance to that of 10.3/10.4 (10.5/10.6 performance in real games was way worse) and optimise of AvP

    Let's hope that this one eventually fixes all CF probs in BC2 and bring the framerate back to 10.4 levels...

    Nope no previews and zip from ATI what the 10.7s will actually do.. its the lack of info that makes me think ATI are working on some kind of "surprise". Wether its good or bad... we'll find out soon.

    Patience. Its only about 9:30am in the US now. Give them time From what I do know of the 10.7 drivers VLC player will have hardware acceleration. @ OCD-OC, its well worth finding a newer driver. Not long ago ATi revised OGL to 4.0, the driver you are using will be around 3.0, at best.

    Noone's said anything about the most glaring bug that needs fixing - the BSOD-on-install. Would also be good if multi-monitor cursor corruption was addressed.

    I mentioned that bug It may be a BSOD for you, but 99% of people experience it as their display going blank and never recovering forcing a hard reset. 5PM in the UK, which makes it 11am over there.. come on ATI, before lunchtime.

    OGL 4.0 is a nice update for any OGL game. We all know how ATi OGL performance lacks, so anytime they say they updated something to do with OGL its worth getting excited

    Er...no. No, those stats are completely wrong. A quick Google and forum browse reveals a hell of a lot of complaints re BSODs, not many of blank displays. I'm prepared to accept that that's common as well, but saying only 1% of those having problems experience them as a BSOD is complete crap.

    Not holding out hope for a release today. Twitter post pulled for a reason.

    Just because the google results I got came up with more blank screen than it BSODing does not make it complete crap. I resent your choice of words. LINK

    That's how I roll with the driver releases as well. If they don't include a performance increase in a game I'm not already running at crazy framerates, or a bug fix that I'm currently experiencing, I stay on my current drivers, which as of right now, are 10.4
