They're not running Folding benchmarks. You'd also be scared of the very few CPUs per mainboard you can use ... only 1!

    Touche..
    Food for thought:
There was an old Clint Eastwood movie( forget the name) where all during the movie you only saw him using a rifle.
At the end he gets into a shoot out using a pistol.
A guy looks at him amazed and Clint replies:
" I never said I didn't know how to use a pistol, just that I didn't like them."

Same here, I prefer dualies but doesn't mean I don't know my way around a single socket board..

Europeans had PSC as did Australians. You will find that only indonesia SOMEHOW managed to get the last lot of hypers from somewhere but it is next to impossible to find any stock at all due to Elpida phasing them out.

I've asked the same question from the European Kingston rep and was told that they can only supply what they have available and that's fair enough. Nothing that can be done about it but i tell you what if you come prepared there is certainly a way to have the upper hand in this year's GOOC...that includes knowing how to get most out of the these particular ICs

That's what I'd like to know. We have only 5 less competitors than EU. EU has the top 29% going. NA has only the top 17% going. At least 3 would make sense. (Heck 4 would be most appropriate, because everyone knows NA is the best j/k)

+1 dinos22 the goal of the competition is to give fair chances to qualify t people from as much countries as possible. NA is only two, so no need for more people IMO. This isn't olympics hehe
