New Gigabyte AMD contest at Futuremark

Hey guys,

We have a new OC contest for Gigabyte AMD motherboards and Gigabyte-brand ATI graphics cards starting at Futuremark with prizes from sponsors Gigabyte, Huntkey, Enermax, Aerocool and GEiL.

The contest is run with 3DMark Vantage on the performance preset and the contest time period is August 16th - September 13th.

There are two separate categories, one category for single graphics card only and one unlimited. These categories require you to publish the result for verification.

We're also giving away prizes randomly drawn among 3DMark Vantage users who submit scores with the required hardware. This lucky draw also extends to users using the trial version of 3DMark Vantage.

The hardware limitations are quite strict in this contest, so if you do have the required hardware you have a decent shot at winning some free stuff just by submitting a 3DMark Vantage score weekly during the contest.

Single card here means single physical VGA card, so multi-chip cards are OK for that.

I want to try the original bios back on one of my cards that is acting up, I forgot to save mine like an idiot when i flashed to a fixed fan bios.

Ok here's how to do it.

DL Winflash 20111 here http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads..._2.0.1.11.html ( works fine in vista ), save master name it master.rom, then click on slave etc etc save as slave.rom, both files should be 128K in size. At that point you can view them in RBE.

If you want some custom stuff let me know.

It's really weird looking at the scoreboard.........trial user, trial user, trial user

maybe you guys should think about how to change this so that we dont get to see who it is etc. These days most OCers use their online nicknames in forums and hwbot so its easy to see who it is and also maybe prevent people using multiple accounts...just a thought

Until they fix the 5970 submissions this will have to do. Just some pretesting on 890GPA-UD3H ancient revision.

I already sent result, but we need wait because have Vendor ID for ATI not Gigabyte, but card is Gigabyte..

and there is no rule about score sharing, so can people submit scores created on their friends systems?
