    MOA Indonesia 2010

Hate to start such a thread on a sour note, but it seems that MSI are being racist with their rules and regulations

    http://www.jagatreview.com/ms/moa2010/rules.html

    "Limited to Indonesian nationality(WNI) only"

it seems fitting. msi indonesia well wants an indon representative for the finals so its..only fair. calling them a racist is a low blow

there are other ways to go to moa finals. maybe join lards of overclocking?

I guess The rules about 'Indonesian Nationality only' were made by someone on the EO because originally they wanted only the Indonesian people doing the qualifier(and represent Indonesia if they did win), and they don't expect that there is people with different nationality who lives in Indonesia and want to join this qualifier.

I'm only in charge as judge at the venue and not in charge of registration, but If you want to join this event, for now you can just fill your details on the registration page, I'll talk to them and i'll see if i can make an exception(or delete that rules altogether if possible)

    Thanks,

I would totally agree with a rule stating Indonesian Resident only.

And what about actually contacting them in person before slamming them?

This has nothing, really nothing, to do with racism. I can't even believe you even dared to use the word. All MSI wants is to have an INDONESIAN overclocker representing the INDONESIAN overclocking community. It's very, very normal.

FYI, Mean Machine can explain to you it also happens in other country.

    bad wording perhaps them........

i've used Australian resident ruling for GOOC...which is fair enough but hopefully MSI can make an exception as he lives there

maybe they just want to make a clear Rules.. if they used resident, meaning, foreigner that living in indonesia also can join.. they want to avoid that so maybe and puting a strong reminder.. as we see.. when world cup being held.. all of the stars are call back to their country and represent their nation to compete.. if using resident.. we can see several player already not living in their country anymore..

so just take it easy.. this is normal..
