    [FD Array] Purple Haze

    Hello XS!
I'm back here yet again with a new build (how unexpected..) this time based on a Fractal Design Array case.

It all started with Fractal releasing their new case, and when I first saw it i found it so interesting that I contacted Fractal, and they were kind enough to let me have one for showing people what can be done to it.

    Basic hardware list:
CPU: Trusty old Intel Q6600 with EK Supreme LT (Plexi/Nickel)
GPU: Probably a ATI HD5770 with EK FC5770 (White Acetal/Nickel)
    MB: Zotac 9300-ITX wifi with EK NB/SB 5 (Plexi/Nickel)
RAM: N/A with Aquacomputer Ramplex (Plexi/Nickel)
PSU: Silverstone SFX 450w with MDPC-X sleeving (Purple/White/Aquamarine)
HDD: What ever will fit, maybe a mechanical 2,5"
LC: EK Multioption 250, EK DCP 2.2, EK CS 120 and 240, Masterkleer tubing on Fatboys, Primochill purple liquid.

Pictures will follow in the posts below!

    Loonym...You are missed.

    The element of one

    Breathe me in
    Breathe me in

I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
    there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation

Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.

I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.

Laine - Where have you been hiding this worklog? Is it over at sweclockers? Otherwise I think you've been holding out on us as this is a lot of progress!

I'm interested to see how the tubing run is gonna look. Looks really great!

Subscribed to this Thread like I did with your other builds!

I'm falling in Love with your work Laine, it's simply amazing and nice pics as always.

You should post with higher resolution for a wallpaper the photos you made to the EK radiators with those green plants...are beautiful

I really like the colour scheme and I was wondering how Aquamarine Blue was going to fit with Purple and you make me decide that I want that combination, so thanks It's a fresh colour combination!

Thank you, subscribers is always nice and I like it when people really follow the build process.

The combination really pops so I think that it'll be a hit.

Thanks, and I'll see what I can do about the wallpapers.

    Hi Laine
I appreciate the association of colors, the feminine character of the construction. The machine loses of its rustic mechanical aspect (only criterion, the technical management), and gets dressed of a delicate, subtle, attractive graphics.

Also attractive photos, very descriptive of your ideas

    Good luck for the continuation.

    Thanks for your input!
I try to make every piece of the build, art itself. Assembling it will make it a artwork made of little pieces of art.

    This is my goal.

This is really a very tight build. I'm very curious about how the tube routing will be on this such small place. When I saw the A05N watercooled I thought it was nearly impossible to make a smaller tube routing but well...now I can't think that! :P

I supose that the pump is the EK-DCP 2.2 and the fans are Gelig Wings UV Blue, but maybe I'm wrong.

Like a lot the way you are using whit on the build, I'm very impressed about the quality you reach with the paint. ¿Do you sand all the items before painting them? And well ¿What kind of spray do you use?

I can see all that finished like an explosion of sleeving and tubing white, blue and purple inside the case like a fountain.

    Keep on working!
