    i7 975 Extreme volts... confused..

I was finally able to OC my i7 975 to 4.6, but I needed 1.56 volts to do it. I've seen a lot of CPU-Z validations with speeds of 4.6, 4.7 & up with 1.4 volts. I don't understand what I'm missing.

I found my min QPI/DRAM voltage for various bus speeds. I lowered the multiplier to 12 and then used OCCT to test them. For a bclock of 200 I need my QPI/DRAM set to 1.52500. My DRAM is always set to 1.65.

I have everything in my CPU config disabled except hardware prefetcher and adjacent cache line prefetch.

    Please help!!

    System specs:
    Intel i7 975 Extreme @ 3.33
    Asus Rampage III mobo
    6gb Corsiar Dominator RAM 8-8-8-24
    Sapphire ATI Radeon 5970 GPU
